Our services
Q10 Material Sampling and Analysis
Q10 material sampling and analysis involves the removal of fine cuttings (samples) from steel pipe or fittings which undergo analysis.
Ultrasonic Inspection
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) uses high frequency sound energy to conduct examinations and make measurements.
Magnetic Particle Inspection
Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) is used to detect surface and near surface flaws. It is most suitably used for ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and some of their alloys.
Liquid (Dye) Penetrant Inspection
Liquid (or dye) Penetrant Inspection (LPI) is used for detecting surface-breaking flaws on any non-absorbent material surface.
Visual Inspection
Visual Inspection is the original method of NDT. Many defects are surface-breaking and can be detected by careful, direct visual inspection.
Phased Array
Phased Array Inspection is an Advanced Ultrasonic Technique that utilises the latest technology to create targeted beam sets that can be focused upon a specific area for an increased probability of flaw detection in welds.
Positive Material Identification
Positive Material Identification (PMI) is the analysis of a metallic alloy to establish composition by reading the quantities by percentage of its constituent elements.
Welding Inspection and Portable Arc Monitoring System (PAMS)
A welding inspector has the responsibility to monitor all aspects of the welding process to ensure the finished weldment is fit for purpose.
Radiography
Radiographic testing is a widely used technique for volumetric non-destructive testing. Penetrating radiation using X-rays or gamma rays is passed through a solid object to produce an image of the objects internal structure on to a film to identify most defects.
